Today (well yesterday) I got some awesome news. A guy I'd worked on a brief for Barnardo's with texted me to let me know that our submission was deemed worthy of a place in the finals of the GRT Awards.
The GRT Award is an annual, nationwide, advertising competition that the Uni had entered us for, as far as I can tell only 5 teams get chosen for the finals, the grand prize is £1000 cash and a £5000 bursary towards a 3 month work placement. So naturally, I'm ecstatic. I rang up the company that holds the awards and they told me that we've been invited down to get our portfolio's critiqued by industry professionals on the 6th of July.
So, now all I have to do is put one together... then have it critiqued and find out if myself and Paul have won the grand prize. Once I get hold of Paul I'll post the ads on here for you all to see, but there's a chance of a gallery exhibition as well as the work being displayed on the awards site.

Cheers, I'm loving your drawings too, I've stopped drawing altogether now and focused on digital art completely, one day soon you'll be seeing my stuff in magazines... (well, you can already see some in mags, but next time it'll be better).
